Saymore Ngoni Kativu

Saymore Ngonidzashe Kativu (Ngoni) is the founder of Zarawi Trust and presides over its research arm, The Nexus Think Tank. He is a youth convener, organizer, and prominent voice on natural resource governance, climate change, and sustainable rural socioeconomic development.

Through Zarawi Trust, he also convenes YESALA – Young Enterprising Sustainability and Agricultural Leaders in Africa, an open network supporting emerging agricultural leaders across the continent. Ngoni has partnered with and served youth through numerous civic, research, and business platforms, including Zadaega Inc (Pvt) Ltd, the Rural Enterprise Trust of Zimbabwe, Mutoko Green Projects, the Climate Social Science Network, and the Youth Empowerment and Transformation Trust. He is also a fellow of the Omega Resilience Awards Africa.

Ngoni is pursuing a PhD in Sociology at the German Institute of Development and Sustainability, where his research explores science futures and agricultural knowledge systems within Africa’s rural agricultural growth corridors.
