Transdisciplinary artivist and doctoral researcher in Depth Psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute
United States
Jackél Agboola is a transdisciplinary artivist and doctoral researcher in Depth Psychology with a specialization in Community, Liberation, Indigenous, and Ecopsychologies program at Pacifica Graduate Institute. Her research explores how African diasporic and Indigenous communities sustain cultural memory, ecological relationships, and collective wellbeing through sacred knowledge systems, ritual, art, and other spiritual and relational technologies. Working across psychology, decolonial studies, ecology, and expressive arts, she collaborates with healers, artists, and community knowledge keepers to explore how embodied, spiritual, place-based, and more-than-human ways of knowing respond to the intersecting crises of colonialism, climate disruption, and social inequity. Her work is grounded in commitments to epistemic justice, relationality, and collective flourishing.
