The ongoing fossil fuel developments in Albertine Graben Uganda have posed a lot of negative impacts including social, economic and biodiversity impacts. The ongoing oil projects of Tilenga, Kingfisher and EACOP have continuously increased polycrisis levels in the surrounding communities and the world at large. In this clip, you can see how youth leaders, including myself, organised a day of action, calling on financial institutions to resist funding fossil fuel project and invest in green economic alternatives, with an emphasis on renewable energy alternatives to fight energy poverty in the country.
