Ami Misra

Ami anchors the Research and Insights team at Dasra, a systems orchestrator in India’s social sector that amplifies grassroots voices and enables community-led change. With over a decade of experience as a researcher, she has contributed to advancing evidence-based solutions and convergence across development programs.

At Dasra, Ami’s work focuses on advisory research and knowledge creation, including leading several of the organization’s flagship reports on the philanthropy ecosystem and on issues of gender, equity, diversity, and inclusion. Her worldview is grounded in feminism, compassion, and an intuitive optimism, and she brings a background in gender and social policy. Prior to joining Dasra, Ami worked with multiple governmental and multilateral agencies and think tanks.
